Email request for Church Mag.

Dear Parish Magazine Subscriber,

As you may be aware the costs and time required to produce, print and distribute the Kingswood Parish Magazine are very high and the PCC Committee have been reassessing the whole process. After a thorough review the PCC Committee have decided to distribute the Kingswood Parish Magazine electronically as of the May 2009 edition with the option of receiving a printed copy if required.

There are several advantages of changing to an emailed version of the Parish Magazine including:

It is free of charge.
Significant cost savings which will benefit both subscribers and the Church.
A much quicker and easier production method which will have significant labour savings in collation and distribution.
Greater flexibility in the size and content of the Parish Magazine which will provide a better magazine for the readers and the opportunity to raise more revenue from advertisers. It will also enable the magazine to be in full colour and include pictures, web and email links.
The electronic version can still be printed off by subscribers and read at their leisure.

As the recently appointed editor of the Parish Magazine, I believe that the new format will greatly enhance our ability to fulfil our mission statement - We are a Church Family that seeks to share the love of Christ with the community here and worldwide.

However, we do appreciate that not everyone has a computer and would be unable to receive the magazine in this format and in these cases there will still be a printed copy supplied in the normal way and at the standard subscription fee of £4.20 per annum or £12 for three years. The printed version will be a much simpler affair and will be produced on photocopied A4 sheets that will be stapled together and delivered in the normal way. Whichever format you would like to receive the May 2009 and future copies of the Parish Magazine, we would be grateful if you could complete or return the form overleaf or telephone your distributor as soon as possible, but certainly no later than 25th April.

If you are opting for the email and have already paid a subscription fee and would like a refund, please do speak to your distributor who will arrange this. If, however, you would like to donate this to the church, we would be extremely grateful.

Finally, the Parish Magazine is your magazine and I would welcome any contributions for publication which can be sent me at the address below – the deadline is the 25th of the month for publication on the 1st of the month.
